In the light of the Government announcement on March 17th about ceasing unnecessary travel and social contact we have made the very difficult decision to suspend all Church meetings until the government changes its stance. To be explicit this means no Sunday Morning meeting, no small groups, no prayer meetings, no youth group and no Alpha. Though our heart is to meet we need to remember what Paul said in Romans 13:1 “Let everyone be subject to the governing authorities, for there is no authority except that which God has established”. Lets pray for our leaders, our NHS, our emergency services at this time. Also know that where one or two are gathered Jesus is there. We are still Church and each of us needs to look out for the needs of those round them. We can still be light in a dark time, We can still share the love of Christ in all we do and how we conduct ourselves at this time. God Bless. Rodger Melville on behalf of the Eldership Team at Kings
Formed in 2006, King’s is a Christian church full of ordinary people who have discovered the extraordinary life that is available through relationship with Jesus. We are part of the Christ Central family of churches. The Church meet together on Sunday Mornings and you are welcome to come and join us at 10.30am at Kirkbie Kendal School, Lound Road, Kendal. Occasionally the School holds its own events on Sunday mornings, at these times, we meet to worship at our alternate venue, The Castle Street Centre.
