Small Groups

It’s hard to get to know people in a crowd – that’s one of the reasons we have Small Groups. As the name suggests, they are small groups of people from the church, and sometimes outside of it, who meet together weekly. They are a fantastic place in which to build relationships and make friends. You are under no obligation to pick one and stay there – lots of people visit them all until they find the right group for them.

Our Small Groups all look different, so look below for more information about each group. As a general rule of thumb; we eat together, worship, pray, study the bible, go bowling and other social activities – just rarely all in one night!

Tuesdays, 7pm onwards, Sedgwick
We are a very relaxed group who eat together regularly, building friendships with people in our wider community providing an environment that is comfortable for all. We spend time worshipping, praying and seeking God. We also work through life issues and look at what the bible has to say about them, and how we bring the message of Jesus to those around us.

Thursdays, 1pm onwards, Lumley Rd Kendal
There are usually 10 to 12 of us who meet in a relaxed informal atmosphere to worship, learn, socialise and eat (not all at the same time!) Our aim is to encourage one another, pray for one another and help each other in getting to know Jesus better. We love new people to join us.

Thursday, 7:30pm-9:30pm, Collin Rd, Kendal
The aim of our Small Group is to provide a welcoming and inviting environment where we can deepen our friendships while encouraging each other in our relationship with God .
We regularly worship and pray for each other, study the bible, or just have a fun games evening, BBQ or a meal together. We love to invite others outside the church to join in.
This small group offers a greater opportunity for everyone to share their thoughts and feelings and to experience the reality of being part of the Family of God.
